Likable, well-behaved gelding

Likable, well-behaved gelding, 164 cm high, compactly built, the ideal lady's horse / transition from pony to horse to shine in the ring.

His sire is the German-bred Shagya stallion Basalt R and his dam is fully German Warmblood bred with the pedigree Quaterback (by Quaterman Brand) x Wolkentanz I.

As a 3-year-old he came to us straight from the breeder, was left to grow properly, and was backed at a relaxed pace. Last winter he competed in a few L2 level classes. Knows the M-level exercises and playfully picks up Z-level exercises.

He also shows a good jump and jumps around a course of about 70 cm, and has done 1 cross-country training session, which he also handled well. He is well-behaved on hack-outs and recently went to the beach.

In character an honest and friendly animal who is always eager to work. With a less confident rider he can become a bit slower, whereas I always have to hold him back slightly. So he adapts to the rider, which is why I also think he is suitable for a teenager / transition from pony to horse.
