Wow So Special is
A striking colt foal with presence, quality and character. He is curious, learns quickly, is very human-oriented and is not easily impressed. He approaches everything with full confidence, and is expected to show the same in the ring later on.
During the foal inspection in IJsselmuiden, his beautiful and correct conformation was specifically highlighted.

His pedigree speaks for itself. He is a son of the top stallion I'm Special de Muze (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Nabab de Rêve), who achieved great international success under Harrie Smolders in Madrid, Dublin, Doha, Wellington, Mechelen and Calgary, among others.
Through his sire line, he carries the blood of the Olympic stallion Emerald van 't Ruytershof, praised for his exceptional scope, attitude and international performances at the very highest level. The dam of I'm Special de Muze, Walnut de Muze, also comes from the world-famous Muze damline that has produced many international top showjumpers.

On his dam's side, Special also possesses proven quality. His dam is an ELITE IBOP DOC mare by Zapatero VDL, a 1.60m Grand Prix stallion. Zapatero is a son of the legendary Chin Chin, a two-time Olympic competitor and one of the most influential showjumping sires.
