Sweet All-round New Forest Pony Mare

It is with a heavy heart that we offer our amazing pony for sale. Unfortunately, ponies don't grow with the rider 😥

Red Velvet is a New Forest chestnut mare. She is almost 14 years old. She is a D-pony (1.45m).

We have owned her for over 4 years. She is truly our buddy, and we have done everything with her.

Weekly club lessons, both dressage and jumping. Pony camps, cross-country, Christmas indoor events, Sinterklaas games. We went to the beach with her once – a lovely gallop through the water. Trail rides. Nothing is too much for Red Velvet. Our daughter also competes with her. In dressage, she is eligible to start L2, and in jumping, they are currently riding 70cm courses with wins.

She is super well-behaved on unfamiliar grounds and never spooks at anything. She walks straight onto the trailer. She is a real sweetheart who loves cuddles 💖.

Red Velvet is a sensitive but honest pony. She has a nice forward go and never gets tired. She does need a calm rider who is not harsh with the aids.

Red Velvet is 100% reliable to ride and handle. She is bombproof in traffic and never impressed by anything. During the day, she stays outside with 2 other mares. She has never had any health issues. She is a rock-solid pony!

She recently visited the dentist. Always neatly vaccinated and dewormed. She is good with the farrier and is currently barefoot. She was recently checked by an osteopath.

Red Velvet has sweet itch (summer eczema). This is well-managed with a fly/eczema rug. Red Velvet will be sold with equipment such as her bridle, rugs, and tendon boots. Dressage and jumping saddles are also potentially available for purchase.

For serious inquiries, please call. A 5-star home is required. She will only go to a good address. We are in no rush to sell.

She is in the higher price bracket. For serious interest, please call or WhatsApp. Not on Sundays.
