This colt comes from the second crop of the Oldenburg-approved Reserve Champion Etouruso VDL, who was selected for the KWPN and himself comes from a proven damline. This five-year-old jumping talent is therefore very promising for both sport and breeding. Wiebe is the first offspring of the elite mare Selina, who passed her mare performance test with 80.5 points. Granddam Nina Simone is a half-sister to three successful sport horses: the international 1.45m-placed Minerva M and Expresso, and the national 1.50m-placed Jezebelle (by Baltic VDL) ridden by Dakoda Mower. Dam's sire Landino VDL triumphed this spring at the international show in Kronenberg and seems set to make his mark as a sire.
