Beautiful well-behaved NRPS gelding

Direct from the breeder
Desperados Elegantia

Desperados is a 3-year-old palomino gelding currently standing at 1.54m, he will grow on nicely to a large E-pony size. He has been under saddle since the end of main and you truly won't find a better-behaved one. He was backed under professional guidance by youth riders and from the very beginning it was just getting on and riding away. At the moment he is worked 3x per week, longing beforehand is not necessary.

Desperados has very interesting breeding, his sire is the well-known NRPS stallion, Don Cremello du Bois, measuring 1.47m who himself performed well in sport both among horses and ponies and has a great many offspring performing extremely well in sport

His dam is the KWPN mare Fame measuring 1.65m, out of the wonderful dressage pedigree United x Gribaldi x Rubenstein. Out of this dam I now have 5 offspring of which 3 are still in our possession.

Desperados has 3 very fine and correct paces with lots of scope and suppleness, he is also super sweet, affectionate and handsome. The ideal pony for an enthusiastic young rider who wants to shine in the ring.

He already goes out hacking down the road a bit, and has now been away from home twice where he was also super nice to work. He participated in the Bommelwaardse paarden dag where he won the BB test.

We have also free-jumped him and he showed a nice jump there too.

We would prefer to see Desperados go to a rider who wants to ride competitively in sport. And as a breeder it would of course also be nice to be able to continue following his career

On February 12, 2026 he passed an x-ray inspection including neck and back with good photos and without remarks. Photos and report can of course be viewed.
