A beautiful all-rounder with the quality to shine in every ring!

Roderick is a stunning 7-year-old gelding with a gorgeous type, striking colour and a super temperament. He has competition experience in both dressage and showjumping and also appears to have a natural aptitude for the hunter ring.

Roderick is already a lovely mover with a comfortable, loose way of going. In the video he is presented without shoes and we think his trot could become even more expressive with shoes. He is neatly schooled in dressage, nice to ride and presents a lovely picture in the dressage ring.

During the auction video days we also decided to show his talent over a fence. Roderick had not jumped for a while and had hardly had any recent preparation for this, so we actually decided quite spontaneously to see what he would show us.

The first few jumps he was understandably a bit fresh, but he quickly picked up the work excellently and really managed to surprise us. He let himself be ridden through the course increasingly easily and showed natural showjumping talent, easy flying changes, a nice relaxed trot and plenty of looseness through his body.

His temperament completes the picture. Roderick is quiet, incredibly sweet and a real cuddly pony. He loves attention and children and is a genuinely nice and reliable pony to have around the stable and in daily handling.

Dressage, showjumping or hunter; Roderick is a wonderful all-round sport pony with plenty of quality to develop further in any direction!
