Promising 2-year-old gelding Verdi TN X Diarado

Boccacio is a modern, athletic and correctly built gelding with a lovely appearance and a remarkably good canter. He currently measures approx. 1.65 m and is still very much developing.

Already as a foal, Boccacio managed to distinguish himself during the BWP competition of Leiestreek. He came second among the male jumping foals and best BWP horse of his class. The jury described him as a very modern, handsome and correctly built foal, emphasizing his well-carried canter and good use of the hind leg.

His sire Verdi TN is among the most successful jumping stallions of his generation. Ridden by Maikel van der Vleuten, he competed for years at the very highest level, with participations in the Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games and European Championships, among others. As a sire too, Verdi TN has made his mark, with numerous offspring breaking through up to international Grand Prix level.

On the dam's side we find Gosella, a daughter of Diarado out of Casall X Cassini I. Gosella herself competed at 1.20m. Her dam Acaselle produced Hyarano (1.35m), Rebelle-K van 't Kattenheye (1.40m) and Alexa (1.30m) among others.

Boccacio was born and raised with us, meaning his complete background is known. His dam Gosella is also still with us and can be seen if desired.

Boccacio has already gained some jumping experience during free jumping, and videos of this are available.

When he was approximately 18 months old, he was also fully radiographically examined with perfect results. The X-rays as well as the inspection report are available.
