Picasso (van Gogh x Riverman)

Picasso is a young gelding with potential and an incredibly sweet character. On the ground he is friendly, affectionate and loves attention and cuddles. He is not a fiery horse. X-rayed and clinically approved in 2022. Documentation and photos available. Re-examination is possible, but the costs are for the buyer.

Under the saddle Picasso is a horse who performs best with a clear, consistent and experienced rider. He needs someone who takes the lead and offers him confidence and guidance.
Picasso is currently working on the following at home in training:
• leg-yielding
• shoulder-in/travers
• rein-back
• beginning pirouettes
• collection
• he has a green flying change

He loves going out into the woods. Due to enthusiasm he can sometimes throw in a buck there. In traffic he is well-behaved, but heavy traffic such as tractors is still exciting for him.
Practically speaking Picasso is also easy to handle. He is well-behaved with the farrier, dentist and goes neatly on the trailer. He can be loaded alone and walks on and off by himself. When the trailer is stationary, for example at a competition, he can become impatient and starts pawing.

Picasso is definitely a horse with potential, but not a horse that is described as 'suitable for everyone'. If a rider does not put him to work, he will slack off. When he is properly on the leg he is a fine horse to work with. A rider who wants to train him further and grow together with him in the sport will suit him best!

For the right person he can become an incredibly fine partner.
