Darlou S Z is an interesting colt with a pedigree that brings together international top-level sport and a sport-oriented damline.
His sire Darry Lou Z made a name for himself at the very highest level. Ridden by Beezie Madden, Nayel Nassar and Harrie Smolders, he achieved successes in international 5* competitions and earned over €1.5 million in prize money. In 2019, he was named USEF International Horse of the Year.
Dam Meltoya S (by Douglas) was competed at 1.20m level herself. Through her, Darlou S Z traces back to a successful damline with multiple international showjumpers. Great-grandam Latoya (by No Ski xx) produced, among others, three international 1.45m horses and two international 1.40m horses.
With top-level sport on the sire's side and performances repeated across multiple generations in the damline, Darlou S Z has a pedigree with plenty of potential for showjumping.
