A 10-year-old Thoroughbred gelding measuring approximately 1.70 m, pedigree October x Jape.
Ranger is a sweet and sensitive horse with a fine character. He is relaxed and pleasant to handle at home. At an unfamiliar location, he can experience some tension when led. Under saddle, once he is working, he is well-behaved and a pleasure to ride.
He has experience in eventing and has completed several 2 cross-country courses. His last 2 cross-country was about a year ago. Last year he started with a new rider at a few national eventing competitions.
He is currently shod all around.
Given his sensitive character and the fact that he can experience tension on unknown locations when led, he is not suitable for a beginner rider. He thrives best with an experienced, calm and consistent rider who radiates confidence and wants to continue working with him in eventing, or enjoy some leisure riding with him. He is well-behaved in the woods.
The reason for sale is that the current rider has insufficient time due to her studies.
