More about Micky

Micky is a very special children's pony with a wonderful story! He has been part of the same family for seven years, where he has watched the children grow up. From their very first rides on the longeing line to their finest competition moments: Micky was there every time. He is incredibly sweet, totally honest and patient. Exactly the kind of pony with which young children can build confidence in a pleasant way, gain experience and above all have a tremendous amount of fun.

From the Bixie ring to The Dutch Masters! His competition experience is truly impressive for a Bixie pony! Micky has ridden multiple SOSO Bixie competitions at the beautiful Green Valley Estate, participated in the Bixie National Championships and made an appearance no less than twice during The Dutch Masters at the Brabanthallen!

Large arenas, large crowds and an impressive competition atmosphere? Micky has already experienced it all. He is accustomed to various competition venues and, according to his owners, is not easily flustered by all the impressions around him.

What a special experience for a small children's pony!

A fine children's pony with possibilities to grow further

Because Micky has mainly been ridden by young children on the longeing line in recent years, his further sporting training is not yet fully developed. A little more attention has recently been paid to this, and Micky is picking this up extremely well! With his fine attitude, appearance and experience, we see opportunities to develop him further with regular training, both in dressage and in showjumping.

This makes him not only an incredibly nice pony for the first Bixie adventures, but also interesting for a family that would like to continue working with him.

A real sweetheart in daily handling as well

Outside the competition ring, Micky is just as wonderful. During the day he happily grazes out in the paddock with other horses and ponies, and at night he stays in the stable. He is social with his peers, easy with the farrier and well-behaved on the horse trailer. He is also pleasant to handle during daily grooming. According to his owners, Micky can even be clipped on his legs without sedation, and X-rays can be taken without sedation. His owners also indicate that he has no stable vices and that his deworming, vaccinations, hoof care and dental visits have always been kept meticulously up to date.
