This top performer won Silver at the Dutch Championships last week!
Walkie Talkie is an 8-year-old gelding with an impressive winning record in showjumping. A wonderful, well-trained and competitive jumping pony for a young rider ready for the next step.
His impressive results speak for themselves: Walkie Talkie is a two-time district champion, achieved a reserve champion title at the Dutch Championships and finished 2nd at the regional championships. Whether it comes to style points or speed, he almost always places in the ribbons.
Currently he is competing at 70 cm, which he jumps with great ease. He has a large, lovely canter and is extremely agile. He naturally has a great feel for the jump and thinks along with the distances, which he often corrects himself. This season he once again proved his consistent performance with double clear rounds at every 60 cm competition and many wins and placings.

-Almost always in the ribbons

-Expansive canter, a lot of scope and very agile

Walkie Talkie is also an incredibly sweet and easy pony to handle. Children can do everything with him themselves: get him out of the stable or paddock, groom him, wash him and load him onto the horse trailer. He is an incredibly lovely pony to have in and around the stable.
Under the saddle he is light and fine in the contact and well-trained. Walkie Talkie fits best with a rider with some experience who can give him some confidence in a new environment. He is always honest and sweet and remains good to ride and guide even when he is a bit insecure about something. He never has the tendency to buck, rear or bolt.
Before Walkie Talkie van de Waterhoeve became a gelding, he was an approved breeding stallion with the BWP studbook and has produced offspring.
Walkie Talkie combines proven results, experience, quality and a fantastic character into one very special small jumping pony.
